A free browser racing game where you build the track.
ApexLab is a racing game that runs in your web browser, with nothing to install. Draw a race track in 2D, shape its hills, then drive it in 3D against AI rivals. Run the race yourself as Race Director, share your circuit with other players, or start a racing career and work your way up from karting.
What you can do in ApexLab
Track builder
Sketch any layout on a grid and the editor turns it into a real circuit with kerbs, barriers, pit lane, DRS zones and elevation. Choose from seven kinds of track: circuit, street, rally, gravel stage, speedway, desert and karting.
Drive it in 3D
Test drive your track in one of ten machines, each with its own handling and engine sound, then race a full field of AI drivers who brake, defend and overtake.
Race Director
Take the stewards' seat: wave yellow and red flags, send out the safety car, hand out penalties and follow the action with a TV camera.
Community tracks
Publish your circuits, browse what other players built, rate and remix tracks, and chase lap times on community leaderboards.
Career mode
Career mode turns ApexLab into a racing management game. Sign a contract with a team, race a season of 8 to 12 rounds on a calendar you can customise, earn prize money and upgrades, and earn a seat in the next championship. Results matter: a bad season can cost you your seat.
There are nine championships across three ladders. Start in any of them:
Single-seaters
GT ladder
Bike ladder
